X-MEN: AN ANGEL'S HEART part 14

As the blades struck each other the blades themselves looked like they were at war. Shadowsaber’s black mist tried to surround shadowbane as shadowbane tried to cleanse the mist off both. I screamed as the shadowsaber cut my skin. “Can you feel that?” Dr. West asked. I looked at him. “When the shadowsaber’s blade was made, poison was mixed in with the molten metal just a small cut would render the recipient helpless,” Dr. West said. I stood up straight. “I can still kill you,” I said. I charge and flinched. “Hahahahaha you won’t be able to move. The poison prevents that,” Dr. West said. He walked over to me. He pointed the tip of the blade at my throat. “I told you, you won’t live to see tomorrow’s sunrise,” Dr. West raised the Blade “MAMA!!!” I turned and saw Bella alive and well. “LOTUS, NO!!!”  Kurt yelled. I gasped as the blade entered my stomach. I fell to the ground clutching the wound. Dr. West flew off as the others reached me. “Kid, come on kid, stay with me,” Logan said. “Bella, where is Bella?” I asked “mama?” Bella asked “my little flower, you’re ok,” I said weakly “you’re going to be ok to, right, mama?” Bella asked. “Scott, get Bella out of her,” Logan said. “Come on Bella,” Scott said. They walked away out of my sight. “Lotus?” Kurt whispered. “Kurt you- you have to take care of B-Bella for me,” I said. “Lotus, you’re going to make it, you have to make it,” Kurt said. Tears streamed form his face. “Kurt, I have always cared for you,” I said. Kurt knelt at my side and picked me up in his arms “its ok, Kurt” I said as soothingly as I could manage.  He looked me in the eyes “Lotus, you can’t ever leave me,” Kurt said. “Kurt, I will always be here if you need me,” I said. I raised my hand and placed it on his chest above his heart “I’ll always be right here” I said. “No, Lotus, I need you. I’ve fallen in love with you,” Kurt said. I smiled “I was beginning to wonder what the feeling in my chest was” I said.  Kurt looked at me “Kurt, I love you to,” I said. I raised my hand to his face as he bent down and kissed me. When he pulled away, my eyes closed.
When I opened them again, I was staring at my own body. Kurt sat at my side weeping as everyone else was standing around crying. “Mama?” Bella asked. “Mama, Wake up, you have to wake up. You promised you would never leave me,” Bella said as she sobbed. Tears fell from my eyes as I knelt next to both of them “I will always love you both,” I said. I placed a hand on Kurt’s cheek and hugged Bella. A bright light appeared behind me. I turned and looked at it for a moment, and then turned back to my friends. “Good-bye,” I kissed Bella and Kurt. Who place a hand on their cheek and walked into the light.
